Sims 4 6 year Estimated Total Cost

I was bored, so I did this Excel and was curious if the Sims 4 did last until 2020, how much would it cost from initial release in 2014 to 2016. Anyways enjoy and figure it would help Simmers to know how much they have to save for if paying full retail prices for packs. Generally the pattern for pack releases have been 1 EP, 2 GPs, and 4 SPs per fiscal year but this fiscal year was the exception of 5 SPs, so graph reflects that variable.

It is missing Get Famous, so the most rounded estimate so far is $550.

Yes, I calculated the current market value but I was counting everything in full including the deluxe edition with the Life of the Party content as shown as the retail price of $49.99 shown here: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/store/mac-pc-download-base-game-digital-deluxe-edition

The Life of the Party addition at full retail price is $9.99, so it is about a penny difference if bought individually at full retail price. You can see the price difference with Origin too: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/the-sims/the-sims-4/offer-selection

Without that added price for the deluxe it if you subtract the $49.99 and add the $39.99 it comes out to $539.73.

Sale is still on for the base versions, so still a good time to buy.

*closes eyes* oh, yeah, there are sales... And the amount of time I play... Is worth it? But better not think too much about it...

It sounds like a lot, but I figured out how much I've spent to buy everything except vampires which is the only pack I don't have, and then / the hours I've played it and it works out too I'm only spending without a dollar-an-hour on entertainment and the more I play the lower the number goes haha! At least that's how I justify it to myself LOL
