Maxis has decided that Rotational play is forbidden.
Why delete everything ? Why not keep the planned getaways but make them inactive ?

I searched AI, which is still learning... but.. apparently this is by design. 😒 I don't have the pack yet, but now.... this is a real pack killer for me because I do play rotationally. I can't play any other way. I get bored with things quickly, it's just how my brain works. I wouldn't have known had you not shared this. so Thank you NoahLGP , for sharing this tidbit. It truly is the first I have heard of it. Edit: I wonder if it only affects the AA pack giving everything in it. Well, I guess this would be a gentle push to focus on kits... just bb & cas generally speaking.

Changing household will apparently remove current Getaways and Getaways planned on calender. So it affects only Getaways in AA pack.
I don't say it's a good thing - I don't undestand this desing choise as a rotational player.

This is an odd choice, and I don't like it, but at first glance... it sounds like this would mostly affect recurring getaways? Otherwise, I don't think I would normally switch households mid-getaway or with one about to start. It's a bummer for the recurring getaways, but it seems like you could somewhat get around that by saving that getaway as a template. For example, if you wanted to have a weekly family reunion, you could save the template, and then when you either rotate back to that household or to their extended family, you could just go in and reselect the template for that household. Annoying, but better than starting from scratch, maybe?
