Even if they are technically allowed to talk about it, I can imagine it would be extremely difficult to do a natural reaction to it if you know all the details. Doing commentary having to pretend you don't know things is very difficult, you can't question things, people would think you're hinting whenever you said anything, plus I'd imagine it would be so easy to accidentally let something slip. Just doesn't seem worth it really.
Some youtubers have talked about it though. I know Iron Seagull, English Simmer and SatchOnSims have, plus probably more I don't follow. Not everyone gets early access, especially smaller creators, so they'll be chatting about it still.
In the past they've done the embargo straight after the live stream which in my opinion is much better. Live stream hype right into new videos plus everyone can talk about it.
