I didn't play Sims 3 into the future but I love Servos (plumbots) and the idea of them so if I'd played this game then I probably would have liked some parts of this pack for sure. The idea of building robots of different types is a dream for me. I'd really like to incorporate that into stories for the types of sims I like to play.
Personally I'd rather they go from synth like (human appearing) to clunky (think Rosie in the Jetsons) and many in between with different levels and powers and focus on technology/modern stuff than do a time travel possibility. I'd try it out though if that's the only way I could get some robots and who knows maybe I'd like that part of it too I'd give it a go anyway. I really don't want rabbit holes scenarios though (not sure if that's what that entailed).
