- Neither really. :) Water/beach themes are my least favorite so if they do it I'd prefer a game pack.
- I don’t think they would make an EP out of an island theme this time around, the only way I can see an island themed EP being made is if the island isn’t a vacation world, but a normal one, similar in style to City Living, an EP about a new world and the experience surrounding the new world.
But honestly I think the island theme would be made into a vacation like game pack, probably won’t have most aspects IP had, but still a unique take on the island setting and experience. - GP. It's small enough in scope that it'd fit comfortably into the GP model. Jungle Adventure was packed with new items and systems, and really, Island Paradise is just another vacation area for most.
If we get a Vacation EP, I'd like it to have multiple destinations, and not be rooted in the tropical theme. - Either one, but an expansion pack would bring more content! :smiley:
- A basic island themed destination would be fine for gamepack, but Island Paradise needs to be an expansion.
Especially since mermaids seemed to do so well, and mermaids would go in an island pack, it needs to be expansion.
We need houseboats, underwater etc. - Considering that the two other destinations were GPs, I can't imagine they'd make an EP out of that one.
- Similar to many others, i think if they wanted to satisfy us to what we want. Me personally? Heres a list of the million things i want.
My list of what they should have
-Beach World
-Resorts (ownable like a restaurant or be able to create them in build mode)
-Swimable beaches
-Mermaids ( sirens song?)
-Cruises/house boats?
-A little boardwalk
-Beachy themed cas and build/but mode?
-Diving skill/surfing
-Private Island
-Collecting seashells
-Maybe a "One With The Ocean" (taking various trips, collecting different seashells, reaching high levels in the diving/surfing skills, meeting a mermaid) aspiration or maybe a mermaid finatic one?
-New trait- Beach dweller, this sim loves being at the beach. Maybe gets a happy moodlet when at the beach and if they havent gone in a while they get a sad/tense moodlet? Also maybe a vacation trait. Similar thing but loves resorts.
Many more! - The problem with residential worlds is we can't place rental lots there (that I know of). A world like this is somewhere I would want my sims to holiday, not live.

Other vacation destinations may have been game packs thus far, but I don't think they'd introduce a tropical pack without ocean swimming and I definitely don't think they could achieve that within the scope of a game pack. So I vote (and hope) for an expansion- It looks like we're getting it as a EP, pack I think a GP would be enough Imo.
