Sims 4 Island Paradise: Expansion or Game Pack?

tbh if they make a bon voyage type of pack then yeah it will be an expansion pack but dude do i want something like this

A basic island themed destination would be fine for gamepack, but Island Paradise needs to be an expansion.

Especially since mermaids seemed to do so well, and mermaids would go in an island pack, it needs to be expansion.

We need houseboats, underwater etc.

The community's bad sentiment towards TS3 Island Paradise tells me they will never ever attempt a pack like that for this iteration.

The bad taste still lingers.

However, if they're considering it I'm sure it'll be an EP.

@agustd Seconded, since a concept like this seems to be so big to me so it has to be an EP, I'm just really hoping that oceans in all existing worlds will be swimmable and has to come as a "free major game update". And cause every EP released in the game had also come with new bug game updates with it like the gardening overhaul from seasons which is apparent for now.

Considering that the two other destinations were GPs, I can't imagine they'd make an EP out of that one.

Well your right. The worlds we have now won't have swimmable oceans but I would hope a vacation destination would or it will be a major disappointment to a lot of people.

I don’t mind if none of the words get updated, and we get new worlds.

I just want an Island Paradise pack or an oceans-world pack so, so bad...

It would be a big pack and game packs would not be enough. So expansion pack.

Similar to many others, i think if they wanted to satisfy us to what we want. Me personally? Heres a list of the million things i want.
My list of what they should have
-Beach World
-Resorts (ownable like a restaurant or be able to create them in build mode)
-Swimable beaches
-Mermaids ( sirens song?)
-Cruises/house boats?
-A little boardwalk
-Beachy themed cas and build/but mode?
-Diving skill/surfing
-Private Island
-Collecting seashells
-Maybe a "One With The Ocean" (taking various trips, collecting different seashells, reaching high levels in the diving/surfing skills, meeting a mermaid) aspiration or maybe a mermaid finatic one?
-New trait- Beach dweller, this sim loves being at the beach. Maybe gets a happy moodlet when at the beach and if they havent gone in a while they get a sad/tense moodlet? Also maybe a vacation trait. Similar thing but loves resorts.
Many more!

The problem with residential worlds is we can't place rental lots there (that I know of). A world like this is somewhere I would want my sims to holiday, not live.
