They will ignore it. I like the kit pack idea and wished they would have done it sooner. I think maybe they are doing it now to see how it goes so they can do that at the start of Sims5. But that is my opinion :D
@Scobre I think I read where you are a game changer? I don't know much about that, but if some are "scared how much it will add up", is it because they pay for them now because I thought they got them for free :/
