Sims 4 Laptop Mode

I play on a Mac and the Sims gets quite laggy after a while. If I switch it to laptop mode, there is quite a lot of improvement. However, laptop mode makes most of my Hair CC go all streaky. Any sugge...

Thank you @luthienrising . I will have a look at my settings (i don't remember well but i know i have tweaked it).
