I like the idea of the Neighborhood stories but I really hope they fix bugs like this. It's a pretty big deal since it affects major parts of sims lives and it's very hard to undo without causing big issues :/
Edit: Managed to get them back on track easily enough without ruining their relationship by asking to just be friends, then building up the romance again but nonetheless, very annoying issue that needs fixing asap
In the spirit of love and not breaking relationships apart… too much, Sims will no longer get a call from their romantic partner asking for advice on what to do with a possible pending engagement proposal from that same Sim. Can you imagine? Awkward…
