I get the impression that most of the game will revolve around this knock-off Fame/werewolf pack loyalty system, rather than have stuff you can actively do as new gameplay. So it'll probably be one of those packs that ends up feeling really shallow when you play it, since most of it is tied up in the background. So another repeat of Lovestruck or High School Years. Being a royal feels more involved than the TOTO/CAD and High School systems, but considering The Sims 4's track record...
The Backroom Lot thing sounds a lot like the system we already had with Adventure Awaits.
It doesn't look like we can become a tyrant and terrorize people. I hope this isn't the case. What's the point of having royalty if you can't flex your power a little?
The three neighborhoods look gorgeous. But idk how satisfying it'll be when they'll be 3-5 lots.
Will the game prevent tourist sims wearing normal clothes from spawning in the world? I know this is more about modern royalty, but seeing Nancy Landgraab walking around would break the immersion.
Favors sound like the same old mini-quest system we've been getting since Cottage Living. It's two-way, so I'm curious how that can be used to differentiate it from the older systems. But considering how tedious favors and quests have been for packs outside of Life & Death (te amo), I'm not looking forward to it.
I love the Tea Time Solarium kit, but those items look really low-quality and blocky. Another repeat of the washroom kit?
Don't like that nobility is a career if it prevents my sims from having other careers. I'd like to make a king that's also an actor, or a prince who's a doctor.
You can't really have one thing by day and another by night i don't think in Adventure Awaits. Maybe your confusing it with Business and Hobbies?

Adventure Awaits advertised it as such

It's much in the same vein: a lot that changes what it does depending on the schedule. Unless Backrooms physically change the location's layout, like the Auditorium in HSY, I wouldn't be surprised if it's very similar to what you can already do with the Adventure Awaits system, just more streamlined and specific.
