I have been playing since the first arrival of the Sims. I have consistently bought every single game and pack (except the Katy Perry one Sims 3, just couldn't bring myself to do it). It has always been a great source of comfort to build and engage in some interactive game play. And as with most iterations of the game, the packs tend to build on one another. In previous iterations and packs this build up has been better dressed and presented to hide some of the obvious. This pack of which I had high hopes for is nothing more than the new ownership (Saudi's and Jared K) trying to save money ( I didn't think anyone could be cheaper than EA), by shamelessly repurposing previous items and builds and gameplay into a colossal mashup of bugs and unfulfilling game play. While I am the remaining Sims player in my family, our 5 kids all play various kinds of video games and compete so I am not unfamiliar with other games, systems or the cost of gaming. And while the Sims has been much cheaper compared to other games that have this wide of an audience, the cost this time greatly outweighs the Franchise.
