Armored claws are not an accessory... booo. I really don't like it is only tied to the outfit and I do not use CC so even if someone made it—I wouldn't use it...

Only blood related or marriage allowed to be a Dynasty member ?
So technically Agnes & Agatha Crumplebottom, Roberto Crinktop and Lady Ravendancer Goth can't become members of the Goth Dynasty in the current state of the game.

I like that the UI set up is similar. It's much easier to relate to a standard way organiing things, than if all systems should look unique. The purpose and functionality will differ anyway.
All my Houses of aristocracy (I have maybe 40-50) of them, already use a club to keep track of central members. I could cheat to the max number of members, but in larger families the club system's 8 sim max was a problem. Now, with unlimited members of a dynasty, this will be easier, I think.

I'm generally over the top for this EP, but one consern might fit in this thread. I read that sims in the nobility career will build their fame all thge way to the top, assuming they might not reach global fame, but at least be quite famouse. In the psast I gave my royals and dukes up to 4 fame stars, but I had to restrict it to 2 stars. 3 star famous sims will atrend the Accolade (Get famous pack), and because that event triggers the formal outfit, my events were packed with high nobility and royals wearing their gala outfits, grabbing most of the prizes. I had to reduce royal/nobility fame to max 2 stars.
Now I worry the accolade will be a mess again, but hopefully there will be a way for the game to keep those famous for other reasons than acting, music, writing etc out if that feature. Hmmm, I have a royal who is also an Actress, but I will survive if she is no longer able to win awards, she is supposed to be an unsuccessful actress anyway ;)

My first reaction was the resemblance to clubs. This kind of feels like a mixture of clubs (inviting sims into a specific group, choosing name and logo, unlocking perks) and werewolf packs (challenging leadership and living up to the groups values) . But with the restriction that members have to be related by blood or marriages. Just as with retail lots and small businesses there is significant overlap. After two types of apartments, stores, social compatibility, community lots with activities, herbalism/apothecary,... I can't say I am surprised.
The Q&A made them look more interesting than the trailer for me. The announced family tree changes make more sense now.
I wonder what happens if people divorce. Will they be kicked out automatically? I hope not.

i will now assume until proven otherwise
You can’t use journey to batuu game pack lightsaber instead of a sword for sword fighting skill
no first order resistance scoundrel crest for dynasty if you have journey to batuu game pack as well as no vampire spellcaster werewolf fairy mermaid alien ghost occult crest

It's getting repetitive these last 12 months :
- Business Club (Businesses & Hobbies)
- Getaway Club (Adventure Awaits)
- Dynasty Club (Royalty & Legacy)
All of them doing the same old 2014 activities (Woohoo, fitness and art). The new possibilities are interesting but the impact is so small on a 12 years old savegame.
Dynasty doesn't add depth to the family story, for example :
- a common aspiration
- traditions
- behind the scene internal rivalry for jealousy (heir), money or power (without damaging the prestige)
- moral values ( loyalty for the Starks in Game of Thrones, ambition for the Lannisters)

The Dynasty system really is just a Club system upgrade/sidegrade. I wouldn't be mad if the Sims wasn't doing this stuff all the time. Like I know the game is old and not everyone owns every pack, but I'm tired of getting the same few things over and over and over again, just slightly retooled or polished up. We have so many half-baked systems, or systems that are good but left by the wayside. Let's get actual new gameplay systems instead of stuff like:
- Three different blackmail systems that seemingly don't connect
- Three wishing wells
- Two retail systems
- Conservationist Global Policies, NAPs, Noble Decrees
Like I know similar concepts can exist simultaneously. I like Scandals because it's much more in-depth and interactive than the other systems, and has a lot of storytelling potential. (Would have been better if you just merged the bugging system with this, but w/e.) But I'd with they focused more on newer, more distinct and varied content. It just leaves us with a bunch of outdated gameplay that's worth a lot less, because there's a slightly better version of it somewhere else.
EDIT: That said, the pack is delivering with the small details: secret babies, adopting adults, (attempting to have) arranged marriages, a ton of new relationship tags. Love to see it.

I feel the same way... what the heck a dynasty is not a club!
So disappointed this was not a new way to edit/manage family trees, and really put off by this pack's gameplay now. I don't even play clubs cause they are limited, and I don't invite groups/go out often in my gamestyle.
So I might only get this pack for one niche storyline, and the CAS/Build/Buy now X /

Dynasty Gameplay Trailer or Club Gameplay trailer ? I'm very disappointed.
Just Dynasty is a new name for Club.
I already see Dynasty having the same issues as Club :
- Impossible to edit the Club if you don't control the leader in Live Mode
- Impossible to find the leaders in Household Manager from World map
After 10 years of Club, I haven't seen anything "Special" in this new Dynasty system.
