Sims 4 Royal and Legacy negative thread.

I  verry confuse with the backroom lot.Is seems similar to a generic and custom venue which we have in the base game,and from adventure awaits.

Well, if they did sword fighting perfect and according to the RL sport in a previous pack, why should they do it differently now? I'd rather have a reused animation than not get the feature at all 🙂

I'm hoping it's a descendant because otherwise, what even is the timeline of the Sims 4? Lore hasn't been this game's strong point outside of Cordelia (and occults), so trampling over what little we get would be lame.

The new Cordelia's family tree at least has a grandma with the same hairstyle as Gallery Cordelia

Now that you mention it, it's pretty weird how we have two different blackmail systems. On top of two different retail systems, two different social compatibility systems, and now two different reputation systems. 

Sure, it's an efficient way of allocating ressources from a management perspective, but as a player it just doesn't like feel like fresh brand new and exciting content even though it's advertised as such, you see what I mean? My "'playing pretend" abilities have their limits lol and reused animations kind of break the immersion for me. 

i'd like to add that it's even more deceptive that they've been doing that for at least the past two or three years now, each pack's main focus has been a slightly altered version of an experience we've already been through or feel like we've already seen somewhere else.

The budget for the last 6 or 7 (heh) EPs must have been reduced so much that this is the best they can offer while still keeping the money machine that is this game going, so I don't think the Sims team, the game designers and the devs are at fault here, I'm actually impressed they manage to produce what they've been creating with the amount of ressources they have. 

Was he already a prince when they married or is he a prince consort? I don't think the trailer spells that out.

That would make a lot of sense.

I can appreciate that, but I wish they would have picked at least one new lot type to combine - something we don't already have. It would have been great to have something like a proper photography studio (think of all those royal portraits) where sims could go to get their portraits done, or family and legacy portraits, with a proper photographer, proper family pictures and a sim who will paint your portrait for you. Then combine that with something else.
