Sims 4 Story Twist Ideas

So I really want a University expansion so I can re-do a storyline from the Sims 2... the Pleasant twins, Angela and Lilith, both had a huge fight in my Sims 2 game and Lilith ran away from home. I thought that was the last I would see of her, until I took Angela to University and there Lilith was in the list of Sims that could move in to the dorms! So I had them both at the same university but never knowing their twin was right there on campus with them, until one day they met again. Lilith and Dirk are dating, as are Angela and Dustin, so there's the four of them. The whole thing turns into quite the dramatic scene... but I never got to finish the story back then, so. I'd love to do it again in Sims 4 and get that much needed closure.

My main households best friends are currently going through a rocky patch in their marriage. Winston is lazy and doesn’t help his wife Emily with anything so she can’t go out and be social like she wants. So she’s getting sad because she has the insider trait. He also keeps mocking her career in social media but it’s her passion!! Emily is getting tired of Winston’s crap but desperately wants to start a family. Only Emily’s desires to have a baby are driving Winston insane so he starts to look for comfort elsewhere!!

Also, my main sim Gary’s sister has just turned up in the neighbourhood. She was responsible for getting him kicked out of the family home, leaving him homeless. Gary doesn’t know she is around yet, but I plan to have their children meet and become friends!! This will be how he finds out his sister is in the neighbourhood!! Drama!!!

I have a save where I removed most of the townies and replaced them with sims that I created, so I made my own neighborhood pretty much. My main household that I have been playing for a while now consists of Jamal and Bella Baker who have 5 kids, two teens, two twin toddlers, and a new baby. Jamal was a mobster when he met Bella, who was a social media star. At first, Bella didn't like Jamal's job and was always afraid of him getting hurt, but right before she got pregnant with Scarlett, the oldest teen, he got promoted to Boss. She doesn't worry as much now, but Jamal pretty much works from home, and Bella is now a stay at home mom. I am at the point where I can't decide if I want to focus more on Scarlett and her teen years and have something scandalous happen, such as her falling in love with an older guy, or her hook up with a random guy and get pregnant. I also thought about going in a different direction and having either Jamal cheat or die, but I have had this family for so long, and I don't know if I want to risk it! What do you think I should do?

I always end up having a storyline in my head and following it, and that usually keeps me from getting bored, but now I am at a crossroads where I have two really good ideas and want something dramatic to happen, but I just can't decide which direction to go in.
