Sims 4 Tier Lists (updated to JTB)

https://tiermaker.com/create/sims-4-packs-september-2020-592920

I don't know why I find it so fascinating but I do. I think it's kind of neat seeing how other people rank things.

Maybe something that would make it worthwhile is commenting on why something is the best and why something is the worst.

    So I finalized my list.
Basically more of how I view them for my own playstyle than overall rank for quality of packs.

The last category is basically packs I own that I've never really played with (ie Fame System in Get Famous) and also packs I don't own (Star Wars Pack)
  • Thanks op, this was really fun (though maybe mine's a little mean though...) https://i.imgur.com/EbNiauU.png
  • Only 2 packs were meh to me. Outdoor retreat and bowling. I do use the OR items a lot though. All the other packs <3
  • Must Haves:

Most noteable things: basically all stuff packs are in the bottom category, I strongly dislike stuff packs and see them as a cheap cashgrab so I've only bought a couple. Get Together I really don't get the hype around, its a pretty mediocre pack in my opinion that adds nothing. A bland club system is not enough to make a whole pack around.

My top tier are IL and JA as they're the ones I get the most use from followed by the next line, B and below is just packs that are sort of "there". They're in my game, I just don't care for them that much

Anyway it's very nice having every single pack, but isn't it strange that there haven't been any releases at all since Nifty Knitting came out?
  • It's actually pretty hard for me to rank a lot of these packs. I have so many different saves and what content I use or appreciate the most depends on the specific characters and story of each different save. But here's my best guess at how much I use the content overall.

"Get Together" always ends up at the top because of how much I use the club system. "Parenthood" tends to end up at the bottom, just because I play with aging turned off and rarely get around to aging anyone up manually, and most of what that pack is about kind of needs sims to actually grow up. Plus, the "phases" for kids and teens mostly annoy me. I do like the CAS and build items from that pack though and use them quite a bit.

Everything else is kind of flexible about where it ends up ranking for me. I could easily give a different answer tomorrow.
