My tip for tolerating Sims twitter is to automatically mute anyone who has a "Sims 3 is obviously superior, I will never like anything about Sims 4" attitude as soon as you see them. I just acknowledge that people who prefer Sims 3 for things like requiring you to go on a fetch quest to the grocery store in order to unlock a bubble bath animation play games for radically different reasons than I do and their opinions are going to universally annoy me. Sims 4 has its issues, but pretending 3 was the ultimate game ever is just ridiculous. We all play differently. I could not even play 3 for a long time because it was so anti-rotational play. Eventually they added toggles but I just keep playing 2 until 4 came out. No version is perfect for everyone. Pretending you speak for the whole sim player community is completely obnoxious to me. But I like following the gurus and some game changers, so I mute the absolutists who are anti-4.
