Sims 4 Two discs?

I had to use both discs.

My sister and I both have the exact same computer. I didn't need the second disk when I installed it but she did. I guess it's just a random thing. Some people need it, others don't

And I can still see the two discs but... needing only one... The Sims 4 is a deep ocean of secrets...

I just got the game from the store and it had 2 disks i downloaded the disk 1 and its fine

If you look at the comments, everyone's saying that limited/collector's edition needs 2 (possibly for the extra content). On my base game (which I got yesterday) the second disc tells me to "import/export pictures", so I'm assuming that the second disc might be an extra set of textures in case you don't have all of them or want to code something, but it's just a hunch. It might also be there for consistency but that's just a stupid theory I came up with.

Mine did not come with any disks i got an empty case with a code.

I just double-checked. I bought the Limited Edition, and it does, indeed, have two disks in the case.

That makes more sense I downloaded it on my computer and I didnt hear the music when it was loading up I'll add disk 2
