I'm sorry, I've tried to stay positive through all the University hype and pack reveal. I tried not to set my hopes up to high but the ONE thing we asked for was not there. I mean guys how can there be UNIVERSITY pack and not bunk beds. Its one of few staple things simmers ask for and they couldn't deliver. I always try to see the best in EA packs but I mean come on.....what is a dorm without bunk beds. To quote the Ea Live stream "It didn't work with the layout" I mean you give simmers little space but no bunk beds. Its just key thing people need to live in tiny spaces. I'm just disappointed with it as a whole. Plus it doesn't even sound like they have plans for it anytime soon

What they did say is that they looked at dorms in various countries and areas and found that very few of them had bunk beds, which is why they didn't include them. I'm bummed that we didn't get them in this pack though but honestly I hope it means we'll get them for everyone in a patch in the future.

This expansion looks boring. I don’t know I was not excited about anything. I am literally going to watch game changers to see if there is anything more to it and that is rare for me.

I'm not making up excuses, I'm saying what the gurus said in the livestream. I would guess part of it is also how it would affect routing for SIms, animations, etc. And also whether they do or don't want to add them and what other things that fit a pack might be higher priority/more requested. Or maybe there's someone on the team who absolutely hates bunk beds and always vetoes adding them ;)

Bunk beds are weird for college. I've never seen it.It would make more sense for another family pack or even better, a free patch.

The gurus involved in the stream were very, very bad at presenting the game.

What they did say is that they looked at dorms in various countries and areas and found that very few of them had bunk beds, which is why they didn't include them.

I'm bummed that we didn't get them in this pack though but honestly I hope it means we'll get them for everyone in a patch in the future.

I’ve seen bunk beds in dorm rooms. There’s a way to separate them, which some people do. Because they’re in rooms half the size as this game’s rooms, think 3 x 5, there’s not room for much else. But there’s a real kitchenette down the hall!

The bunk beds weren’t a dealbreaker for me but this pack is pretty weak in many ways. No new traits and only one aspiration! They had whims turned off and didn’t answer whether or not there would be any new whims. Lots are mostly small and just too few. If I do get it, I would not pay full price, I’ll wait it out.

Hi, recent university grad here.

My university was phasing out bunk beds in favor of just regular loft beds.

Bunkbeds don't fit in a university. I hope they are saving them for another kids pack.

University looks so basic the only way I'm getting it is half off and that's only because the bikes and bathroom stalls everything else is just not worth it. I see nothing that could keep me interested the second I seen forced rabbit hole "game play" for a pack that's made to play a single Sim it made it clear the story they want me to tell is not one I want to play.
