It makes me smile when...
...and, well honestly I could go on forever and ever with things that make me smile every single day in TS4. There's just so much to smile about. That's the biggest reason I play this game. It makes me happy! :)

- Parents give their toddlers/children a loving hug or vice versa. It's just so sweet!
- My Sims get good at playing the guitar. I especially love the ballads and Latin selections. I can just sit here with chin in hand and listen to them play all night.
- A build turns out exactly how I'd imagined it from the beginning.
- I hear all the ambient sounds, for example; birds chirping/singing, woodpeckers, how my Sims footsteps sound on different terrain, thunderstorms, coyotes howling, the wind blowing, etc.
- Toddlers and children laugh.
- Sims sing in the shower.
- Sims sneak a sabotaged gift under the tree. The look on their face is priceless.
- Sims complete a collection, finish an aspiration or reach the top of their career.
- A challenge I'm playing has been won!
- A Sim falls in a mud puddle.
- A Sim is possessed.
- Sims get married, even if just an elopement.
- Parents play with their toddlers.
- Parents kiss their toddlers/children good night.
- A significant other/husband/wife feels the baby bump on their partner.
- A Sim is abducted.
- I see a gorgeous Sulani sunrise/sunset or see the Northern Lights.
- Watching Merfolk frolicking in the water.
- Toddlers take a bath.
- Playful Sims make the books they're reading 'talk.'
- A Vampire with Super Speed runs by.
- Sims breath fire over a spicy dish.
- Fights/Duels/Sparring happen.
- A Sim fails at cooking and the salt shaker bonks them on the head or they drop it in the frying pan.
- A Sim is cooking Blackened Bass and light it on fire then throw out their hands with a "Ta Da!" expression on their faces.
- Toddlers cross their eyes when blowing out birthday candles on their cake.
- Parents cuddle and kiss their newborns right after birth.
- Sims get engaged.
- Sims ride on canoes and Aqua Jets.
- Sims woohoo in a closet.
