Sims 5 subscription

There is a rumour that The Sims 5 will be a subscription service game. How do you feel about this? This came from Pixlade on the Jobs page they are looking for some that is excited about subscript...

I could just imagine the pandemonium if EA introduced a subscription paid online version of Sims 5 and the servers crashed on the first day as they did for SimCity5! :o
