Sims Businesses and Hobbies Expansion Pack Negative thread.

Get To Work fridges aren't supported by Businesses & Hobbies, customers can't buy or take the stored food.

Sadly Home Chef Hustle isn't supported by Businesses & Hobbies.

• Food Stand is an independent business
• Small Business employees can't use the food stand
• Small Business customers can't buy food from the food stand
• Food Stand customers can't visit Small Business and do activities

oh that's a relieve, it was being told by someone a few weeks ago back to when i came up with an idea about certain things😅😅👍

that person must have only used Magnolia Promenade in this case to sell some items without trying out some other worlds since "businesses And Hobbies" came out that comes with a business venue👍

I was hoping to turn my Windenburg cinema (bar) into a lot owned by a townie so that my sims could visit there and have to pay for a ticket for entry, but...

I got the Fyres family to buy the cinema, set them up with tasks and uniforms, set the ticket price, set the activities to drinking bar drinks, eating popcorn and watching movies...

I put the Fyres family back to unplayed and visited the cinema with my sims. They could go in without a ticket purchase, but could also buy a ticket if I wanted them to (my choice). I had them watch a movie on the cinema and the place was packed out but only one other sim watched a movie - and that was one of the Fyres family! ALL the other sims were crowded at the popcorn machine making and eating popcorn. And the guy I set to tend the bar was nowhere to be seen so no bar was tended. It was a washout.

I started a tattoo parlour too, but I didn't carry on with it because I didn't want heaps of sims going around with tattoos everywhere!

You can have retail lots at any regular world. It's just a lot type. No need to be in Magnolia Promenade 😊

I didn't thought of it at first but according to SatchOnSims you can't sell clothes you have created (or atleast not directly)

And if not mistaken you can't sell the furnitures neither (someone mentioned it's possible with "Get To Work" if you work at the retail lot but i've wanted this in a business lots so it isn't limited with Magnolia Promenade only) i have furnitures i've found on a dumpster one that comes with "Eco Lifestyle" i still have lots of items there i've wanted to sell that apparently isn't possible with the business lot

I've started a tattoo parlor and the same Sims keep showing up and asking for tattoos. I'm running out of skin on them! 

I agree with you on Everything.  

EA needs to Step it up with this game. Starting with major coding fixes.

Edit: InZoi might be a baby and new to this genre but it won't take the Inzoi team long to master what they are missing in their game with their engin and player feedback.

Well, yeah... that has been their packs since around the beginning... New set dressing, shiny new items, new music and... new ways to do some things that have already existed in the game. Oh, but there is a new gameplay feature or two that didn't exist before, a possible new trait or aspiration and/or career! Admittedly all of these don't really do much to impact the game, especially the new gameplay that has reused the animation of a previous gameplay item/action or uses the absolute minimal of animation possible...

And yeah, with the how the worlds have become emptier over time... I'm pretty sure it is due to them trying to make the worlds "more open" by spacing the lots farther apart so there is "more world" to trek around and "explore". Nice in theory, but... when there is very little to actually find in the "explorable" areas... Eh. 🤷‍♂️
