I haven’t played it long enough to judge really but my first thought was I’d seen it all before. I try to be positive but this one felt really uninspired and low effort at least from walking around the world.
The little hub areas where barely any sims are, the interesting looking church which turned out to be a rabbit hole to get a moodlet which was written in lazy Gen Z meme speak and will seem odd in 25 years (something like “very historic much learning”). And of course no tourists taking selfies or anything as there would be in real life.
The empty streets, this time with crossings and traffic lights but no cars of course. And the most interesting looking parts being set dressing you can’t go to despite just being across the street. Instead of interesting new sims, Judith Ward and the Robles lady were at the hobby meet up of course. Which again was just a piano, microphone and a market table set up in the road. I thought it would be in the really nice looking building I zoned in on, but no, it was just a tiny little area with the usual items.
There was a really nice looking bread stall and you can see it has baguettes, croissants etc. but when you order food there isn’t a single piece of bread or sandwich on it, just cookies and cakes or whatever. It’s lazy.
Then in build mode, the garden swings, bicycle, piano, guitar etc. Just feels like not really trying at this point. For the price of an expansion they really should be adding several entirely new things into the game with every patch but they just repeat bar, piano, bicycle, laptop etc. If they can’t do more for technical reasons it might be time for Sims 5.
Well, yeah... that has been their packs since around the beginning... New set dressing, shiny new items, new music and... new ways to do some things that have already existed in the game. Oh, but there is a new gameplay feature or two that didn't exist before, a possible new trait or aspiration and/or career! Admittedly all of these don't really do much to impact the game, especially the new gameplay that has reused the animation of a previous gameplay item/action or uses the absolute minimal of animation possible...
And yeah, with the how the worlds have become emptier over time... I'm pretty sure it is due to them trying to make the worlds "more open" by spacing the lots farther apart so there is "more world" to trek around and "explore". Nice in theory, but... when there is very little to actually find in the "explorable" areas... Eh. 🤷♂️

I agree with you on Everything.
EA needs to Step it up with this game. Starting with major coding fixes.
Edit: InZoi might be a baby and new to this genre but it won't take the Inzoi team long to master what they are missing in their game with their engin and player feedback.
I specialize in long sentences....🙄
