I agree with @Writin_Reg about swimming one day being in all the older worlds that we had before Island Living. The teams tried to do it, but older saves would be lost in the process so the idea was scrapped. DU will have swimmable areas because it is a new world. Most of the new worlds in the future will probably have water terrain for swimming because that type of terrain is easier to add to a new world while it is in the development stage.
