Sims can't/won't woohoo in double bed.

Yep, i've been having the same issue too. I tried moving my sims out and back in and now the bed that wasn't allowing the interaction works but the other one doesn't...

I also had this issue in a premade house. It was a bedroom on the second floor. I wish I knew what fixed it but I don't. I kept trying to send my premade Sim and his non-livein premade girlfriend and they would not go. I may have left the game or changed the bed, but they could finally woohoo after that.

I have this issue as well with one couple. They will only woohoo in a certain bed it seems. :/ I have bought them a new bed two times and deleted the old one but it still didn't work. Then they woohoo'd in the lesser quality bed again.

Oh my adults so do this... so annoying.

Been having the same issue too (especially the bold part) where sending two Sims into a double bed will result in both of them wanting the same side.

I saw this with Eric and Alice (SKL, fresh new no-mod game) earlier, last night I think? But it BEING a fresh build, I thought well, maybe their relationship points aren't high enough... although it seems married couples can almost always woohoo?

Anyway, Alice was asleep, Eric went to another bed, I wanted him to sleep with her. Soon as he headed that way, she jumped up out of the bed. It seemed odd, but I wasn't focused on that at the time.

I've had this issue once and at the same time only one sim would sit when I told them to sit together on the bed. I reset the bed and it fixed both issues.

Two things you can try. 1) Repair game, if that doesn't fix the problem, 2) In buy mode change out the bed for a new one. Could be the bed itself is glitched.

A couple of things.

Try deleting and replacing the bed.

If that don't work try repairing the game.

If you have any cc or mods in the game move the folder to your desktop.

I've been having the issue in bedrooms that have nothing but a regular ol' bed in them so I don't think this is the issue. I think it's a general bed bug.

I know this thread is a couple years old now, but I was recently having this issue and found what Hippieinblack said to be true as to what was causing the trouble in my game. My Sim was a collector and had many of the crystals in her inventory. I did not have a problem with my sims woohooing until I decided to display her collection in their home. I bought a shelf and placed her crystals on it and thats when the problem began. It happened even though the crystals were not placed in the bedroom. They were even on a totally different floor than the bedroom. I tried everything, resetting my sims, resetting the bed, replacing the bed, exiting the game, etc. Nothing helped, so I came here to do some research and stumbled across Hippieinblack1221's theory and it occurred to me that this problem started exactly when I had placed her collection of crystals into the home. So I went back into my household and placed them back into her inventory, and viola, problem solved. Yay!! So, in case anyone else has this issue and thinks that just because the emotion altering items arent placed in the same room thats having the problem, I dont think it makes a difference. My crystals were placed 2 floors down from the bedroom, once I removed them, problem solved and my sims were happily woohooing again.

I found out that if your bed is against a wall a sim cannot enter, so make sure both sides of the bed are clear so the sims can both enter
