I do indeed have that one and was so hoping this wasn't the culprit. I may pull that one just to see if it is the problem. I will report back here in case someone else may be experiencing this. I hate to pull this one since it has other aspects that I like (lawn mowing and custom laundry soap, and Ironing. )
***Updated edit*** YES this mod "Simrealist HLC" needs updating. My sims are acting normal after shower now and are no longer changing into towels. Bittersweet for me since on the one hand I was able to determine the cause without having to pull everything, however, I so want those gameplay enhancements that the particular mod adds to my games. The more I can give those sims to do realistically the more I enjoy playing them.
Edit to add update...I think this might in fact be the culprit. I pulled it and sent my sim gal back to shower and this time she changed into regular clothing and didn't change into the towels after directing her to do something else like she was doing earlier. Going to try with one more sims just to be sure. If it doesn't happen again in my game then that has to be the culprit. I will come right back and report my findings. And, if this is the problem I sure hope it gets updated. I really want this added game play.
