Nooooooooooo, please no. Why can't they understand that it is for us to decide how our sims react to anything. Not every sim is per default against cheating in tests.
I know right, my parents and relatives irl have encouraged me to cheat in university exams if it's gonna help me pass??"DaWaterRat;c-17314369" wrote:

Simple. Either it's a scenario they never tested (living at home with parents and not cheating) or it's on someone's notes as "something that needs to get fixed" that was overlooked as deadlines loomed. Especially if it doesn't impact the numbers (relationship between parent and kid)
I understand that they can't possibly discover and fix every bug in the game but some of them (like this one) are so apparent that they would be encountered with some simple playtesting.- Gotta say I was nervous opening this thread. I was worried Uni had the same bug as Seasons where you could romance family.
Anyways
I didn't know this was a feature in the pack. Does it just cause minor relationship loss between the two? Cause you can just easily get that back until that bug is fixed. - susanleona6 years agoNew ScoutThere seems to be no relationship loss at all.

This is an interesting preference. Do you also prefer that sims don't cry after a loved one dies? Personally, I prefer a little bit more realism and consequences in my game. As far as the OP's issue, it sound like a bug, but the overall I like the fact that there can be actual consequences for cheating."DaWaterRat;c-17314369" wrote:

I just hope they don't get rid of the feature entirely instead of fixing the bug :/- This happened to me and my sim wasn't living at home. Her mum turned up at the dorm??? to yell at her for cheating lol ?
- One sim student had just arrived home after taking her final, and she immediately had to leave again to take another final. She raced out of the house to go to class, and her mom started running after her just to express her dissapointment. Not gonna lie, it was one of the funniest things I've seen so far.
- Yes, my Sim had this too. His dad is a celebrity. He showed up at his dorm and wouldn't leave. He ate their food and crashed on the sofa in the common area. When his son woke up next morning his dad accused him of cheating, but he did not. His dad then stayed at the dorm until finals came.
I don't know why his dad chose to stay behind at the dorm when he has a beautiful mansion in Del Sol Valley. "bixters;c-17314821" wrote:

Having your parents show up at your university to yell at you for cheating when you are a young adult isn't exactly realistic. It would be good if their reaction was based on what type of parents they are, for example if they have been strict with their kids in the past then this would be the ideal reaction but if they were like really chill parents then not only it shouldn't bother them but maybe they should even laugh about it ?♀️ And if they were something in the middle a simple text should do.
But of course The Sims 4 just isn't that deep.
I really don't like having standardized reactions for every type of sim and personality in my game and if that's what they're gonna give us then maybe I prefer having no reactions at all because the exact same outcome becomes repetitive after a while of playing the game. This goes for other packs and instances in the game too.
