Is this the end of origin offline playing? Nobody told us about new things being downloaded in background for sims 4?
I read about it before I clicked on it. My real concern is that I use Mods. What will happen to those with these 'secret' downloads? I'm uncertain I like just what EA is now doing.
I don't think this is the kind of stuff that will affect mods - if they were messing with game code, it would be a patch I think? I get the impression that this will be more like new items, swatches, hairs. For one thing, you can't usually change a file while it's in use. The game would have to be restarted.
