Sims eat too fast!

Which works if you have a small household or manage to get two Sims to cook together (the interaction itself got stuck for me with Sim number 2 endlessly trying to gather the group of 2 people while Sim nr 1 did all the work, but I still got a bigger meal) but gets tougher at 7-8 Sims. But it's not really a problem once the food is done. The leftovers solution is always viable, but again, they eat too fast.

I personally would still prefer shorter cooking/longer eating periods rather than the current deal. Except the grandiose meals. A turkey needs to take its time.

The issue is really time management. If you know you will need to cook in the morning, you wake your sim up earlier. If you don't want to wake up earlier, you can cook the night before or even two - three days before. My sims always have leftovers in the fridge, there is never the issue of no time to cook. And if your sim must eat in the morning surely they need to wake up early enough to do so otherwise we might next see that sims don't need to feed anymore because some people couldn't feed their sims before they went to work.
