Sim's favorite drink?

How does that work?
Every sim in my game seems to have the same favorite drink. In finnish it is called "Ohranen". "Barley...something". It looks like a beer because the icon of the drink is a pint with foam on top.
Yuck. Beer?? There are all kinds of fancy drinks around and everyone drinks beer?? Even all the snobs like Altos and Landgraabs etc always order that same "drink"...

In my game they have different favorite drinks. But I have no idea why a sim have some particular drink at his favourite..

Is this a drink from the bar, not one from fridge like milk and orange juice? I haven’t use that bar thing almost ever and I don’t remember any beer. I didn’t know they have favourite drinks.

it's probably again the same stuff as with those 1x1 pools after the pools patch
with every addition to the game the devs push ALL sims towards that addition
& with GT it's apparently that beer - there are no favourites in TS4,
there is just same old same old "look what we've got new for you, player" routine :trollface:

You're welcome :) Those drinks that I posted can be bought at bar venues.
In the link that I posted, there is also a list of food and drinks that can be bought from the espresso bar.
