I turned the garage in the house I build from plans in a magazine into a Green House. That way my Sims don't have to go out into the weather (it's usually raining) to take care of their garden. No cars or motorcycles, what else is a garage for?
I have to admit that a lot of my households have traditional, old-fashioned roles, so I sometimes like to make a garage or 'man cave'. It usually ends up with a woodwork bench in it and some deco stuff and not much else. Or maybe the archaeology table.
So whilst my sim gal is hoovering and cooking the dinner, my guy sim can hammer away at his wood project lol.
It would be great to have more stuff for my guys to do. And more hair, beards, moustaches and trousers that go past the ankle.
@elanorbreton I know a lot of people nowadays would call that old-fashioned but the only old-fashioned thing would be if you were saying all men like these things.
In my opinion it's a perfectly normal thing that some men will be into woodwork and have "man-caves". I'm a pretty young person myself and I have a lot of guy friends very into cars etc. It is kind of cliche sure but there are tons of men out there who enjoy these so-called "typical manly" things but not just because they are traditional or old-fashioned but because they are genuinely drawn to these hobbies.
So I would be as pleased if we got more "typical manly" stuff as I would be if we got more LGBTQ representation and more make-up options for men.
