Sims get focused emotion in a room when they shuoldn't

after trying all of the above and if it doesn't work, if you can, leave the game, back to desktop then restart. Some times if you have a mood lamp or other mood enticing object, like computer, turned on you have to leave game to get it actually turned off. But if you have telescope pics, collectables, crystals ect, move them out first and see if that helps.
