I think our Sims are getting a bit spoiled with all this gift giving and receiving. I have two Sims I am hoping will fall in love. They are both gardeners and are at level ten. The male Sim has been searching for an orchid seed for a Sim month and I cannot find one anywhere. On Love Day I had the female Sim give him a perfect orchid seed as a gift. And he proceeded to pitch a fit. Wow. Ungrateful much? I thought it was the perfect gift for a level 10 gardener but he treated it as if it were dog poop. When I rotated through my families I checked his inventory and he still has the orchid so at least he didn't throw it away. :/ I think their reaction to each gift is totally random. Kind of like a chance card.
