Sims have lost daily wishes and whims since the patch

Question

Just like the title says, I've noticed that sims no longer have daily whims and wishes since the update. These would normally be seen just above the sims's head. There were three of them, two that you can lock and one that comes and goes. Has anyone else noticed this?

You need to turn the whims back on in the options menu under Gameplay.
