What I do not understand is how you could open your game if the saves were no longer in the Electronic Arts folder? And if you could, why did you save again when things did not work? If nothing was saved, then it might only be a matter of moving files back in.
May it help to delete the mods cache file? localthumbcache.package

I have more than one save on my game and I only moved one.
