Yeah :/ It also bothers me that if an adult raises a child/teen/toddler that's not biologically theirs as their own child, they can flirt with them when they're of age. I mean.... your sim practically raised that person as their own child, so why oh why, would they have the option of being flirty with them? It's creepy. Imagine your older sim still being an adult/elder and then having whims of being flirty with their non-biological dependent. I don't know if this has been changed but I remember this issue last year.
ETA: Random but once my sim's best friend started flirting with her.....at her OWN wedding in front of her fiance. The fiance autonomously yelled at the friend and then slapped/threw a drink at my sim. It came out of nowhere.
