A thread for those occasions when we want to comment on something game related or ask a question without having to start a new thread. Or those comments and questions that don't really fit into an existing thread.
I wish collections were tracked by individual sims rather than households. I guess it would increase the size of save files, which could then lead to corrupted files.
I guess I'll just cheat the collections Julianna had before she moved to Chestnut Ridge three years ago.
Thank you. I hope so, too. Working at it on the dummy doesn't yield much gain, I'm sorry to say. Guess he's going to have to take on his brothers and possibly his wife. LOL Good thing it only requires he knock them on their behinds. Oh, something that surprised me. He now has three other swords in his personal inventory. Say, what? I guess that's the "trophy" for his wins? Pretty cool.

They come from the Crystal Creations pack and are earrings that can be crafted on the Gemology table. They look pretty ❤️
Does anyone know in which pack these earrings came in? Felix Hoffman got them in his mermaid form and I can't find them in cas 😅
Congratulations to Erik on winning the Master Swordsmanship tournament! 🎉They are great photos of his wins against each of his duelling oponents! I hope that he will soon reach level 10 in the Swordsmanship skill! 🙂
As I've mentioned a couple of times over here in these forums, is that I recently had to rollback my game. Things, thankfully, are performing as they were before the patch hit. But, I have to say I've learned that one of the side benefits of rollbacks, is I have taken a moment to replay, albeit differently, a few things.
One is I lamented Prince Erik never got past the Regional Swordsmanship Tournaments. I guess I believed he shouldn't take any chances of that sort while he was King. So, this go-around, I decided since it's easier to gain skill during these tournaments, to put the youth through his paces. He just completed two of the Regional Tournaments in which he got the Gold Medal, twice.
I realized the Sim calendar was moving along. Prince Erik will soon be coronated King. It's the weekend, so I sent him down to the ring, if you will. This time I was surprised but pleased to see he now qualifies for the Master Tournament. And, yet I hesitated. Then I decided it was now or never. Holding my breath, I signed him up.
Why bystanders choose to walk right in between a dueling pair, I don't know. Thank goodness no Sims were harmed during this exhibition. And as you can see, my trust in my Sim was well-founded. He's on his way to skill level ten! Yay!
I just had to share this momentous occasion with all of you. Oh, and my Sims are now just seven Sim days from splitting the household. Yeah, I'm closing in. In a very short time (although when playing the game, it seems a single day can take an eternity), I am almost to where I left off. Yay!

In another iteration of my Cantrell family, that I started one year ago, I used a heavily revised version of a chapter from my Star Trek Fan Fiction, trilogy to better explain Brianna's predicament. As such, I decided using it again would likely be deemed spamming.
So, in looking at it and the chapter that's posted, I will undertake a revision of the two, hoping between the two updates, I can make things clearer and more enjoyable, too. Less dry as it stands currently. Please give me a minute, this is a big undertaking--- I tend to argue with myself, a lot.
When it's done, and I'm happy with it, I will replace the current update with the newer one. I will be certain to let everyone know when it's posted. Wish me luck. I don't wish for my Cantrell Chronicles to suddenly die on the vine.
