Slow down pregnancy

Just as the title says. Is there any way to do this? I feel like pregnancy goes by in a few hours instead of a week which is what it felt like in TS3 and then BAM they give birth to a full gown child.. well you know what I mean.

I would love to have an expecting mom who is pregnant for a little while. Even better if you could decide when they change trimesters like when aging up.

    I actually don't use the mod, I just know it's a thing.
But there are a few versions of it though, I think the most up to date one is this one, so if you're using one of the old ones it might cause an issue.
  • Hello.
If you use mods, there is a setting in MC Command Center to alter the length of pregnancy.

I added a Pregnancy Duration setting in Pregnancy/Other Pregnancy. This will allow setting the pregnancy duration in number of days. The EA default is 3 days, but the value can be set anywhere from 1 to 120 days. Note that if pregnancy aging is enabled, the Sim may not live long enough to give birth if the duration is too high.
  • @rosemow is the option under pregnancy? I have MC Command center but haven't seen it there! (unless it's under mc-woohoo which I haven't downloaded) Definitely need to make the pregnancies longer!

    Hello @Monkinonk.
    The option is under Pregnancy.
  • I'm in for anything related to pregnancy sliders. More choices are good, make it 1 day if you hate it, make it a lot of days if you're playing epic lifespan.

I had the same problem with the mod, so what I ended up doing was leaving the mod in until time for my sim to go into labor. I could then remove the mod, restart the game, and go back to the household. The expectant sim would then give birth as normal.
