Just as the title says. Is there any way to do this? I feel like pregnancy goes by in a few hours instead of a week which is what it felt like in TS3 and then BAM they give birth to a full gown child.. well you know what I mean.I would love to have an expecting mom who is pregnant for a little while. Even better if you could decide when they change trimesters like when aging up.

Yes, there's a mod for this. The creator has different lengths. I currently have the 9 day pregnancy one (each trimester is 3 days). I did do one for 18 days, but it was a little too much for me.

Sometimes I want to fast forward it because it takes FOREVER but sometimes its nice to enjoy a sim during their pregnancy especially cause they can still do all of the stuff other sims can do and they don't have to wear ugly maternity clothes.

Mc command can do this too, you can change it in game but I don't know what will happen if you change the length during the pregnancy and I don't remember if changing the length requires to restart the game.

@Polyrhythm the mod doesnt work..i had it and when the sim had the baby, the baby didnt show up at all and the thing with the name didnt either

i think pregnency is long enough tbh

I actually don't use the mod, I just know it's a thing.
But there are a few versions of it though, I think the most up to date one is this one, so if you're using one of the old ones it might cause an issue.

If you use mods, there is a setting in MC Command Center to alter the length of pregnancy.

I added a Pregnancy Duration setting in Pregnancy/Other Pregnancy. This will allow setting the pregnancy duration in number of days. The EA default is 3 days, but the value can be set anywhere from 1 to 120 days. Note that if pregnancy aging is enabled, the Sim may not live long enough to give birth if the duration is too high.

@rosemow is the option under pregnancy? I have MC Command center but haven't seen it there! (unless it's under mc-woohoo which I haven't downloaded) Definitely need to make the pregnancies longer!

I'm in for anything related to pregnancy sliders. More choices are good, make it 1 day if you hate it, make it a lot of days if you're playing epic lifespan.

I had the same problem with the mod, so what I ended up doing was leaving the mod in until time for my sim to go into labor. I could then remove the mod, restart the game, and go back to the household. The expectant sim would then give birth as normal.
