i also had some really bad simulation lag after the Seasons patch, you know sims standing around doing nothing, reacting after 2h in the game and you know what helped… a new gaming PC :(
I mean we are talking about Sims 4 that sacrificed everything because of ''better Perfomance'' and here we are, four years later, dealing with perfomance issues, oh and i wouldnt count on the game patches, since they tend to break the game a lot.
Even funnier than that, I get performance issues that are directly related to...graphics! My rig is composed of a decent i5 4690k OC @ 3.9 GHz (which I tested without OC), 16GB RAM, and a NVidia GTX 1080ti that should melt the Sims 4 as far as graphics go, yet nope. And I know for a fact it's related to graphics because changing the lightning down to medium or setting draw distance to low fixes 80% of it, so it isn't even simulation lag which is entirely different. San Myshuno is flat out a nightmare. So basically you are telling me that the game has FPS issues on semi-closed worlds where only one lot is loaded, yet that was a "sacrifice" to not add open worlds?
Good joke devs, well played. In before TS5 has only one lot loaded, no open neighborhood, and no distance, ala The Sims 1, because performance. I love a lot of what's being done gameplay-wise, but the performance and bug situation is dire, very dire.
