- The way I have my families in Sims are just me n my hubby :) Yeah I created us in game. I build houses and stuff on other lots and let families move in but mainly its just 2. As I make sure I have NO kids in game...lol Yes I have kids in real life just like peace n quiet in game lol
- 5-6 children is my usual family size. I like large busy households.
- Small families, because large ones just over extend me. I have one family that accidentally had twins, then their cat gave birth to a kitten. Plus, the dad had recently adopted a dog. So now it's 2 parents, 2 kids, 3 animals, and it's just wayyyyyyyy too much. It's hard to keep the animals fed and happy while also training toddlers and keeping the parents from stressing to death.
- RememberJoySeasoned NoviceI mix it up and do both.
But usually it's either 1 sim or 8 sims, there is no in between. - simsimsereNew AdventurerSmall is better because my rotation is already huge. I like having 1-3 kids per family but occasionally 4.
- I prefer small families so it's easier to manage each Sim's needs. If I have more than 2 kids in a family, it gets difficult (even with Free Will on) to meet the Wants/Needs of toddlers. Once they're kids, it's easier.
- HermitgirlNew SpectatorOnce I have over 3 sims I feel stressed unless it's a chaos story. I mostly play with 1-2 even. I just want to tell their stories, live their lives and rotate switch around. For bigger families I have to set up rules to mostly ignore the others and let them do their thing or I would never have my finger off the pause button.
- Three Sims is usually the minimum I'll play with. Sometimes I start with one or two Sims, but I always try to increase their family asap because I'll just get bored otherwise. I'm really obsessed with micro-managing everything but for some reason I'll still get bored if I don't have enough Sims in my household.
- king4510411New SpectatorI like playing large families. It keeps it interesting because there is always something happening :)
- I honestly prefer medium size. 3-5 is my happy place, but I chose large cause I'd rather have 8 sims than 1 sim. 1 sim I get a bit bored when they are doing tasks, with 8 I can always cycle thru my sims to find someone to do something with.
