Snow Day?

Tick tock, tick tock. Twenty Two views and no one knows the answer? @Catloverplayer, I know you are busy, but do you know the answer? I don't have this EP and I would like to know this answer, too. Thanks for anyone who can help this player find out.

No, no snow days in TS4 - thank goodness! My TS3 kids lost so much schooling time to snow days it wasn't funny.

Gotcha, it didn't seem like it! I wish it was at least an option for the realism. I was inspired to ask this question because the first snow of the year is happening in RL hahaha (in PA) thanks! xo

Ha, I'm in NJ and getting the same snow as you. Was just thinking about how close my current save is to Winter and how it'll be kind of cool to have it snowing in my sims' world and my own!

I love being able to play all day with my kids on such days :o Apart from the fact it only happens in winter? Plus they need just 3 days to max their grades. (plus who cares about that anyway, it’s not like they can’t go to university with lower grades ;)) I agree with people who dislike the mandatory 3 days maternity leave because that really hinders females’ careers. But schoolkids are just fine having a day off every now and then, it means you can play them instead of waving them goodbye, miss them all day and when they get back they have to do homework. “My kids lost so much disappearing in a rabbithole time, I actually had to play them!” First time I see that mentioned as a downside :D

no theres no actual snow day but you can make a holiday a snow day if you want. thats what i have done before. also i made summer vaction for some of my save files.

Or you can just have the kids take a vacation day. I've decided all of mine are getting vacation days in winter once their grades are maxed.

Just like in real life. Snow days used to turn the household upside down. Except for the kids of course. :p
