Snowy Escape EP - What are you most disappointed about?

Yeah except the Festival of Youth, these festivals seem pretty pointless to me so far

I agree with the disappointment that this is not a game pack. In my opinion we received the same amount of detail and gameplay in this pack as Realm of Magic did, which is a GP and $20 cheaper. I feel there were many missed opportunities with this pack. Such as More Japanese snacks sold at a booth that’s attached to a shell (like in RoM) so that Wakaba doesn’t feel so...empty. Or the fact that the snow sports are tied to this world. It’s great to get more sports but what’s the point of new skills if they are tied to one world and hold no actual rewards for your sims besides some new tricks? And lastly, the culture! WHY were we only given one culture skill (Selvedoradian) and not given a Japanese culture skill? This could’ve applied to having sims vacaying there to learn new recipes, get better with chopsticks, and just make it seem more like sims are getting a taste of different lifestyles that may not be their everyday. I have a couple more minor thoughts but won’t go on as I’ve already typed enough to make my point haha.

The festivals are very lacking and for me at least, not many attend as opposed to in City Living. The Festival of lights could’ve had cute animations with sims and the lanterns, but you can’t even have sims VIEW the lanterns in the river. It’s all set dressing with some cute food stalls. And someone brought a BONFIRE. There were Sulani NPCs fire dancing in the middle of the festival ??‍♀️

This ? Why they gotta randomize each day. What’s their school mascot, a shape shifter? ? And agreed on the latter. There are literally only two new kids and Teens in this entire EP for your sim to befriend at school. It takes me so out of the immersion of this world when my Sim has “met cassandra goth at school”

Most disappointed with the patch that broke the game.

I don't think the game changer builds were play tested. The rental lot that my sims stayed in had a kitchen sink that was not accessible because it had been placed underneath some shelves. I had to use the free build cheat to fix it.

I've got another super minor disappointment to add. Why didn't they include a Snowy Escape render for the main menu?

I could be wrong, but I think this is the first TS4 EP that hasn't included a new render (and possibly music) for the menu.

They included TS4 main theme with Japanese flavor for the main menu.
