Now I'm upset because this could be been added to the game and patched if players have Get Together for groups to do this dance at gatherings if they go out haha :( It would've also added a great element of more Japanese culture into the game. If we had been given a Japanese culture skill similar to how Salvadorian culture has the Rumba that your sims learn, sims could've learned this dance as well for Japan. More missed opportunities!

Agreed. I really like the closed world thing where we can just click on something to get there, instead of having to stumble around to find and get to a location.

it would be nice if we could actually watch our sims ride the train and also ski lifts...fingers crossed for that to be included in a future update ?

Yeah, I saw that at the Light Festival. I was so annoyed that it was the Sulani fire dance, like what? o.O

That the game shuts it's self down a little more frequently. I had to make sure I save my game more often. I hope it doesn't turn into another Sims 3 lagging problem.

I've got another super minor disappointment to add. Why didn't they include a Snowy Escape render for the main menu?

I could be wrong, but I think this is the first TS4 EP that hasn't included a new render (and possibly music) for the menu.

They included TS4 main theme with Japanese flavor for the main menu.

I guess my game must be holding out on me because all I've heard is a rotation between the music from Island Living and Discover University EPs. Same render from Eco Lifestyle too.

u can listen to it on the sims community channel they uploaded a version of it there :)

There's a few things that disappoint me about this pack

- The one empty set dressing neighborhood with a set dressing train station would of been fun to see Sims using it like they faked in the video
- Instant teleport ski lift its as bad as the City Living elevator
- Japanese world without any way to change it to the world I want it to be beyond the lots
- Rentals instead of giving us a hotel system

Lack of futons and irori. Aside from that, I’m happy about the pack.

omg yes futons. i was just thining about this. lots of ppl in japan use futons and it would of been great especially if we could of just "roll them up and put them away for space saving. This also reminds me how i am still upset that they haven't added sleeping bags yet.

This is it for me. I planned on buying the pack on day one, but that means patching my game and possibly breaking it. So I skipped the patch and the pack. I will reconsider when they fix the patch.
