Oh, I love when I can instantly recognize features of the game so I plan to play this game too much as well!
I listened for the song, when playing tonight.
I had Manage World view/World select, with all the round images of the worlds on the screen. I have all except Forgotten Hollow.
The melody playing in World select was the same melody throughout, and continued uninterrupted as I clicked on each of the world icons, loading the world map of each of them.
When in a specific world view, like Brindleton Bay, the melody was the same as in World select; but magnified in strength.
When returning to World select; the melody diminished in volume.
I could be misunderstanding where I am to listen for it. You could post a picture or a video if you like, or describe the steps to get there. I also love unsolved issues in the game, so don't be sorry for the confusion; it’s as entertaining as the game.
