No I am noticing this too and I’m wondering if it’s a glitch. Some of the vendor foods are not the same as the ones sims can make at home. There are more sushi items sold by the vendors that seem like sims should be able to learn them just like in City Living after they eat them, but nothing is happening. My sims have high cooking skill and I don’t think it should take them this long to know how to make sushi when they can make Onigiri at level one.
