If memory serves (and it might not-) I thought we could only book rentals in vacations worlds for around 7 days the longest and then once sims returned to their home worlds they could not book another rental again for a while?
You can stay as long as you want if you have the money to pay for it. When the vacation is over you get the option to book more days.
But can we send our sims to work from vacation worlds? Will they be back to that world?
You can get them freelance jobs. I have a sim who is an archeologist and she earns money from the artifacts she finds.
Oh cool. Haven't thought about it... i want my sims to live in Selvadorada and to spend their retirement years in Granite Falls, just knitting and enjoying the landscape...
