There is an reason why some folks compare packs with other versions, because of precedence if features appeared in one version, some feel it should in newer versions. Seasons is present in Sims 4 but for some it is gimped. As far as this new EP having snow and not having seasons pack is not an problem for me as mountains do have snow and people know that and if EA/Maxis had not put snow in this pack unless you have seasons it may mean less sales and much more criticism. Now most of the packs in Sims 4 for me is gimped and not as full as the previous packs from older versions. EA/Maxis should know some will always question each pack since SIms 4 came out. You can get some people to like SIms 4 but you can't get everybody to like it. Some will buy it at reduced prices but not at full price (like me). :)
I remember when S3 seasons came out and my sim was driving home when a blizzard struck and I could hear the blizzard and the way my sims car engine slowed down so my sim could drive home at a slower pace safely. Also the snow was so deep I could not see the road on the map and my sim ended up at a crawl-) It reminded me of several RL occasions when I had to stop my car as I could no longer see the other side of the road was or the ditch on either side lol
