- I'm actually pretty excited about this. I totally understand the gameplayers and the critical approach, since there is a lack of gameplay which I do agree should be prioritised. On the other hand, I am mostly a builder, and I do often get bored in gameplay (if it's just me or the game, I don't know), and I do think this could be really exciting to explore! So, personally, though I know other things are higher on the general wishlist, I'm really looking forward to learn about the new GP. :)
- NightwalkerArk4 years agoNew AceI don't really have an interest in the architect career, but I'm curious to how exactly the job will be handled. An active career where you actually gets a budget and have to change an existing home? Or a freelance where you just submit your expertise to the client via computer. An off-the-screen company takes care of the renovation. But option two sounds small for a GP.
Wonder what else they might include. Either way, I feel like I won't need to buy this one. (and then I'll find out they'd actually include something awesome, and I'd have to eat my words). - crocobaura4 years agoLegendI wonder if the redecoration will include gardens too.

@Dakota88, @ChocoSulSul, @texxx78: I won't abandon my existing mods because I know that it is hard to enjoy this game without mods by now.
It's just that I feel really frustrated by the type of content we are getting lately. It's not that I'm not fond of visually pleasing content, but the Sims 4 is still a life simulator game, not just a building simulator or a showcase for stunning looking Sims. As a life simulator, it desperately needs more in-depth and versatile gameplay. At least, that is my humble opinion.
I understand your view so well... i'm too a bit tired of 4 but i still enjoy it, only because of mods that change whims. Playing with whims is my favourite playstyle. Thank you so much for your availability and generosity :)- I hope it comes with a function (base game update) with which we can build our own apartments. I want working townhouses at last. Only reason why I'd get it.
- ChampandGirlie4 years agoSeasoned AceI'll be interested in learning more about this pack. It's actually a theme that interests me. I usually play with a lot of households so I'd have to see how this would work in that context. In general, I like having creative careers in the game. I'm also taking a guess that this might bring in a color wheel or something like that.
- At this point, I don't want a color wheel anymore. It'll break all of the CC and I really don't want that. Won't be able to update for months until TS4 Studio throws out a batch fix.
- paigeisin54 years agoSeasoned Ace@83bienchen Thank you for sticking with updating your mods. If not for your effort, time and selfless devotion to this game, we wouldn't be able to play our games at all. I always wait before updating my game until all my mods are safe to use, so take your time and don't feel as if there is any pressure on you to update your mods quickly. I'll wait because your mods are great, and you have a family, a job and personal responsibilities that are more important than this game. We appreciate you and your talent so much we'd hate to lose you as a mod creator because of stress over getting these updated mods to us quickly. We can be patient. Heck, we must be patient if we are still playing Sims4 after all it's ups and downs. :D
- I'm thinking this new interior design career will be very similar to what you can do in Tenants. I just bought that game few weeks ago and it's really cool. When I'm saying similar I mean the sims team probably took the basic idea from it but won't be as detailed as the Tenant game itself. I think they'll allow us to go to other sims houses to complete the job (same like the paranormal investigator career) and give us a couple of tasks like change the wall colour to blue, add certain furniture etc. Am I excited? I already have the Tenants game, which is perfectly enough for me, and taking under consideration that the sims team probably won't be able to implement a lot of the details from the tenants game in my view it'll be lacking in comparison. It's a new career and I will buy the pack and try it but if they don't add something that will make it entirely different from the tenants game or implement something brand new for the sims (like being able to buy more than one house, additional world, etc.) then it'll get boring very fast and I won't be playing for long. I assume there will be some new furniture and probably a few CAS items but I'm not expecting them to introduce a massive amount of additional game play. It'd be great if they could introduce hobbies so even if someone doesn't want to play as an interior designer they could find something worth playing in that pack.
- Okay, guys, 13 minutes left. Let's prepare for this to be L A M E.
