SO Many Multiple Births?

Hey guys! So I am having a serious issue with multiple births. Out of my first 3 pregnancies, I had one set of triplets and two sets of twins. A bit annoyed with all the multiple births, I downloaded the 'Number of babies odds modifier' mod to try to make the chances; Single Child: 94%, Twins: 5%, and Triplets: 1%. Since then I've had 5 more pairs of twins, one more set of triplets, and only 3 single child births. I should add that one of these single child births was likely because I ran out of space in the household. None of my sims have the fertility trait, and I definitely don't try to do anything to encourage multiple births, so what is with this? I don't mind twins or triplets every once in awhile but this is getting a bit ridiculous. I googled it and saw many others had the same problem with a patch about 2 years ago, but that should be long fixed and my game is up to date. Is anyone else having this problem?

    My most recent games, this seems to be happening more. It's actually become RARE in one save for me to have single births. They've ALL be twins or triplets, starting with generation one. I wonder if being a twin/triplet increases chances of having them? I dunno. Maybe it's just random and a case of good/bad luck lol, but it is getting a little ridiculous.

    For the record, the save I'm referring to had--

    Starter Sim--had twins

    One twin had one kid (nothing too spectacular there), other twin had first triplets, and then twins.

    Of the triplets, so far 2 have had twins, and 1 had TWO SETS OF TRIPLETS.

    So out of 8 pregnancies, I've had 3 triplets, 4 twins, and only 1 single birth. No fertility, tho I did start playing rotationally at the 2nd gen, tho I was present for a lot of births so can't really blame it on that :-/ I usually let my sims try for baby whenever they get the whim for it (and not before), but I'm starting to be afraid to let anyone get pregnant lol
