I'm bookmarking this thread because it makes me happy! :)
I was ridiculously excited to start with, then I got a little downcast with certain developments and the reactions to those developments, but now more information is being dribbled out, I'm ridiculously excited again!!!! It looks so pretty! And there's going to be new stuff to do!
And I'm starting an entirely new save based on a friends novel so that I can take my mind off the waiting by making an entire cast of characters, who will probably finally be finished by the time Seasons rolls around!
Aww, don’t let it get you down! :frowning:
If you like what you saw in the trailer, then at least you would be happy with that content.
I myself felt a mild disappointment at some development, but then I remembered all of the other content I saw in the trailer, and then I’m cheered back up again!
I mean, what’s you see is mostly what you get, and I’m liking what I’m seeing so far (from the trailer)!
Hope you have fun with the new sim characters!
Thanks! I'm exactly the same. I was disappointed about the snow depth and no beach activities, but now seeing the detail they've put into snow and the other things I've seen, I'm giddy again!- XxAirixXSeasoned NewcomerI am really excited as well. The waiting is the hardest part. I got a gift giving mod and use the Holiday and Spooky Stuff packs to sort of help until expansion is released (like I can pretend dinner parties could be for Thanks Giving or Christmas and Spooky parties for Halloween; but with seasons, gift giving will finally be back! I used to use gift giving to pretend sims are giving gifts for birthdays, baby showers and weddings, etc...we need a real baby shower and bachelor/bachelorette party now. Also we need funerals again.
I can't remember when was last time I felt this excited about the sims. I think the Jungle Adventure was exciting and still want to get it someday; but hadn't been able to yet and might have to wait. Kind of had a lot of bad luck the past year or so, so it makes it hard to catch up. I didn't care much about toddlers, so that was meh to me. I admit they are cute; but not my favorite life stage to play with as it such a chore to care for them. I usually age them up after they learned some skills.
I think I was more excited about Vampires and Parenthood (mainly because it helped sim families feel more like a family) and love the Vampires in the game and the clothing, items, etc....I was also excited about my doctor sims actually able to go to a functioning hospital when working. - I wish we could get some footage with the sound. It'd be so nice to have that characteristic crackle when walking on the snow.
- LolaLuvsSimsRising RookieI can't take it anymore! I'm so tempted to just start my rags to riches and just transition to fall once the EP is released. I've completely reinstalled my game with limited mods but I think I did it too soon. I don't want to start anything before the pack comes out but I also really want to play
- InvisibleAESSeasoned NoviceI’m almost at the point of I can’t play because I’m too excited for what’s coming. However to try and distract myself I decided to make a new save with the lifespan on long and try to do a legacy with some self made rules like : the heir can only inherit 3xs the last bills worth of the household funds. I usually play on normal so it will be fun to see how that changes and not cheating the rules lol I want to see if I can sustain a sim on crops and no other job until the EP comes out! Last time I had PEPS this bad it was for C&D EP and I ended up sleeping for a few hours and getting up to play for a hour and then going back to sleep! I also watched livestreams of people playing at work lol
- I keep going between wanting to play and not wanting to play because of wanting to implement the new gameplay!
- XxAirixXSeasoned NewcomerMan, a part of me wants my sims to wait before they get married as I want a fall wedding, yet another part doesn't. Maybe I will play another household for awhile to help get my mind off it. I updated a pool lot to prepare for the summer heat and might do it again once Seasons is out.
- LolaLuvsSimsRising RookieExactly @butterflyxgirl
- I'm too excited to do anything else in my life. I've reached an unhealthy level of excitement that I've not had with previous packs and don't know how to handle. I just need time to hurry up and get to 22nd June already!
- thatsme_everSeasoned NoviceI agree! I haven't felt this happy and excited since Toddlers were announced! The Seasons EP is going to bring so much realism, replayability and creativity to everyone's game!
