I have disabled the sounds on Steam and I don't know if there is a connection between them but I was able to play the game for 40 without receiving any crash. They weren't at home all time either, they went to dates, traveled around the city as well. Before disabling the sounds, the longest playing I had was like 20 minutes before the crash. I accept the fact that it sounds extremely weird to play without hearing any sounds but it seems like the only option until we receive a patch. Anyone who hasn't tried disabling the sounds might give it a try :)
